Rachelle Pereira and Katie Byrne, co-founders of EQUALibrium Group LLC, have very different stories but share the same passion for helping companies, and individuals, be their best. They gave birth to "the little start-up that could" called EQUALibrium in late 2015 so that they could dedicate themselves to building Powerful, Modern Leaders.

Rachelle comes from a guidance and counseling background, having worked in the UK with senior doctors and surgeons on developing leadership and communication skills, before moving to NYC in 2008. Since then, she has consulted with over 30 companies in a wide variety of industries including: music, entertainment, insurance, financial services, non-profit, fashion and retail, cosmetics, publishing, technology, public relations, hospitality, and healthcare. Over the years, she has led large-scale organizational change initiatives, facilitated executive leadership offsite events, provided targeted executive coaching, taught countless workshops and facilitated even more thought-provoking discussions.

Katie started her career in London in the financial services sector. She was transferred to New York and enjoyed 15 years of notable success sales trading on Wall Street for both a large, multi-national and a boutique financial firm. Within her role, she created 'start-up' departments that had their own mission, product, staff and consumer. Her hands-on experience put her in the position to learn how to be a Powerful Modern Leader. With a desire to pay it forward, she left Wall Street to become a certified Executive Coach.

In the true spirit of EQUALibrium, Rachelle and Katie share responsibilities within the company. Rachelle tends to take the lead on creating innovative content and designing their trademark bespoke programs. Katie focuses more on business development and operations. However, you will usually see both working side-by-side on projects consulting, coaching, delivering workshops and leading group facilitation.

Outside the business, they have a close friendship and often spend weekends and vacations together as families. Both having demanding careers and young children whilst living in the hustle and bustle of midtown Manhattan, they understand the need to support one another in every aspect of their lives.
